Today I was mostly working in the roses, tidying up, checking for black spot and powdery mildew. I spotted my blip but had no idea what it was. Luckily I have a brother who who does know about these sort of things and he’s just informed me it’s an Oxythyrea funesta,! It’s a type of Scarab beetle which is a recent colonist to the UK
