Inspired by’Music for a Summer’s Evening’.

The weather was perfect and the venue was ideal. The Lakeland Fiddlers were scheduled to play later at a concert inside the church so their performance outside in the churchyard was a bonus. The band grew in size as we watched and listened, the players joining in mid- tune as they arrived.
The relaxed spontaneity of the music seemed to add extra charm to the occasion.
