Raven Solidier

We've been to the Tower of London today. I've never been before so it was good to finally find out what it was all about. Had a great day and learned a lot about parts of our gruesome history. We opted for following the guided tours mostly rather than making our way round, they have a good way with bringing the stories to life for us so you remember them for longer.

I chose the blip today because I thought it's posture and black feathers reminded me of the changing of the guards we saw moments earlier.

Did you know, the average raven in the wild lives for 12 years, but the last royal raven from the Tower of London to die was 42 years old! They are clearly well looked after!
