Blue Mint Beetle
MK this morning with a trip to their Sainsbury store thrown in.
This afternoon JJ has been over to our son's to cut a patch of grass, whilst I've lazed in the garden and taken the odd photograph of hovering hoverflies, blackfly and greenfly, as you do.
However, I was rather taken with this blue mint beetle, which is all of 7mm in length, and very difficult to photograph. It's eaten holes in one of the fuchsias and now I've lost it. If I find it again, I'll point it in the direction of the mint, as it obviously doesn't know one plant from another.
