Pirates ahoy!

Creation Station messy paintingness this morning, and on the way home I asked Bean what he'd like to do today.

"Pirate cakes, more painting, Octonauts, and pirate playdough!"

Wow. Not much then.

Apart from the more painting we managed though!

Pirate cupcakes, Bean helping, Bear making me twitchy as he had to stand on a chair next to us with no nappy on (he refused), eggs cracked, electric mixed learned about, lots of mixing, trust, hardly any mess, grouchy Bear needing wrapping, cupcakes cooked, Bear sleeping, playdough made (gorgeous gorgeous stuff this time!), playdough played with, icing made, cakes decorated.

Out for tea, kids happy, lots of noise, good to catch up, eating, no cakes brought home (all eaten! yay!), hyper over-excited over-tired children taking far too long to get off to sleep, singing lullabies and praises, singing peace to our hearts, not wanting to leave their room once they were asleep, breathing in the peace, listening to them breathing.

Tidying, blogging, writing, looking at photos. Snacking on bread. Bad night last night - Bean fell asleep well before teatime, exhausted and hungry, and then couldn't sleep properly from about 11pm (not for want of trying, he really wanted to sleep!) so I've needed matchsticks today. Going to bed now :)
