THURSDAY

A trip to the Apple Store in Liverpool to get a new battery fitted on my iPhone. I parked at Hooton Station on The Wirral and we took the Merseyrail link to the city centre. 

Morning coffee at Hotel Chocolat cafe; lunch outside in the sunshine at Las Iguanas, a walk around Albert Dock, an ice cream 99 and some shopping. 

Phone now fixed free of charge under the Apple Care scheme. 

A bit of drama on the way back as the power was turned off and all trains were stopped for 45 mins due to there being an unconscious man who had fallen onto the tracks after fighting at Hooton Station.
