Vale of Clwyd
WEDNESDAY
Another hot day.
Late afternoon we walked over to Y Graig nature reserve which is about 750 m away from home and on the edge of the village.
It’s a steep climb through the woodland with limestone cliffs but the views from the top are spectacular with the Irish Sea, Colwyn Bay and the Great and Little Orme to the west; the peaks of Snowdonia in the distance and the wide expanse of the Vale of Clwyd ahead. Our house is just off camera shot to the right.
Lots of butterflies, birds, grasshoppers on the hill top.
