Sunset

This Blipfoto experience is a great exercise in letting go of goals.

Today we spent most of the day at the Santa Cruz Blues festival. It was great fun, very low-key (literally...only folding chairs less than 10" high are allowed) and minimum hassle for a big event. We parked at our friend J's house and walked there, avoiding the shuttle buses to and from the parking, and spent a time-warped afternoon in the sunshine, drinking beer on our less-than-10" beach chairs amongst the tie-dyed t-shirt crowd.

It ended at 7pm - no risk of having to stay up past our bedtime. We walked out to J's house, collected the car and stopped at the beach on the way home, to sit on the tailgate and enjoy the quiet as the sun was going down.

I liked the music a lot, but the beach with J was the best bit.
