Elder ( Sambucus nigra )

The morning was taken up with more "organising" at the studio.  In nthe afternoon Clickychick went into town, I pottered round home expecting a supermarket delivery.  Originally scheduled for the 3 - 4 slot.  we got a phone call telling us it would be 4:30 before it could reach us, in reality it was after 5:00 when it did eventually arrive.

This is the first open Elderflower I have seen this year. Strangely for a plant so entwined in culinary things e.g. cordial most parts of the plant are poisonous.
