The plant ID app says it’s a marsh orchid , but it’s not very marshy at Barnpark woodland, so. Not sure if that’s correct . Amazing how not mowing a section of the path has resulted in wild orchids growing . It is very beautiful close up.
So the rain came today , now too wet to ride . For goodness sake !!
Took little Basil to the vet to get his eyes checked out and he does indeed have cataracts. Vet was quite surprised as he’s only 7 yrs . Poor Basil sat staring at the wall thinking it was the door , asking to go out ( he hates the vet even though she’s lovely to him). It was sad to see. He has a referral for the dog vet eye specialist in limerick, but I don’t know that we’ll be opting for surgery. Let’s see what she says first .
