Honeycomb Car Park Shadows, Peters Village

My ankle was a bit better today so managed to hobble in to work (the bruising now looks spectacular!). However, I didn't risk walking all the way from Victoria up to Bond Street (it would have taken too long for a start!) so took the tube instead.
Work was, again, really quiet but at least at lunchtime I had something to do - I needed to take my photographs to get framed for the upcoming staff exhibition. This meant another tube journey to the wonderfully named Goodge Street via Tottenham Court Road to get to the framers. They used to be in Soho but were pushed out by the rent becoming too high to bear financially. It was an expensive ten minutes in the shop for me as I spent a shade under £300 but worth it as they always do a great job.
The rest of the day passed by uneventfully and then it was time to head home and meet my brother for our compulsory Friday night pint. We decided to give our usual Friday pub a miss (they are not overly effusive in their welcome even though we've been going there for many years) and go to The Red Bull in Eccles even though it meant a big detour due to roadworks. It was well worth it though as the beer was great, staff were friendly and the garden out the back was rather lovely. We're thinking of making it our permanent Friday watering hole of choice. On the way back to our house we had to retrace the detour by going back through Peters Village. We stopped at the newly opened Co-op to get some supplies (mainly wine) and that's where I took today's shot in the car park round the back of the shop. Sometimes inspiration can come from unlikely places!
