Droopy

Some plants are happy as can be with the rain today, but not all. Our poor peonies just started opening this week and their beautiful blooms are soppy wet • I stepped out onto the deck for this quick photo. You can also see a corner of the vegetable garden with a few of the potato bags, tomato cages and the cat box • Did some laundry, practiced the uke, finished off a little paperwork and I’m now waiting for MrsP to be done with her projects to start a movie before I get dinner going. A stir fry, I think, and the cook may need a G&T, it’s Saturday night, after all :) • “How I wish I had someone to talk to, I’m in an awful way” • Shoutout to Cat!
