Starling Chick

9 chicks appeared in the garden this morning. Not all of them with their parents. They seemed to have arrived in a more grown up state this year and better able to fend for themselves. I think they have been keeping out of the rain.

If I have time, and get a better shot, later in the day, I will swap this out.

Update: Didn't get a better shot. A family landed on the washing line and mum was desperately trying to keep it in balance as all the chicks (three of them) were spinning round. Really funny to watch - but I missed the shot.
