Ringlet

Today's the day ....................... when it rained

The perfect weather to be out in the garden - not too hot - and with the occasional light shower.

Who would have thought that feeling the rain on your skin would give such pleasure?!  It's only because it hasn't happened for a couple of months and it was almost like a new experience.  The other thing that I realised hasn't happened for a while, is to see butterflies in the garden.  Perhaps it has been too hot and dry for them too?  But there were a few of these about today that I think are ringlets - but as ever, I'm open to other suggestions.

It seemed to be enjoying the rain too - and it stayed long enough in one place for me to photograph it .........................
