Soft colour

17.5C and cloudy with little breeze.

Work started on the street lighting improvements in our street this morning. Lots of noise. The usual assortment of inappropriately parked trucks. The pavement is now absolutely filthy after the line for tarmac removal has been cut. Two or three weeks of joy to come !

I'm not convinced that it is any improvement although it will get rid of that Sodium yellow. I'd rather they spent the money on fixing potholes.

Maeve the Deerhound and I were glad to go for our walk after lunch and get back to the quiet of the country and the shore. We had the beach all to ourselves today, so we took our time wandering along. There were a couple of men at the Fishermen's huts. They were more often in their huts than out while we were there.

There was a hint of haar down at the shore so I decided to look closely at the interesting things that lie about near the huts and the boats. I took some shots of floats, and bits of tractor. In the end I decided on a montage of soft colour from the floats :-)
