Recovery

16.0C and sunny. Starting to cloud over in the afternoon.

After a light shower when I was at the Coop this morning the day improved markedly. By lunchtime it was warm and there were only one or two clouds to be seen.

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk. We met a few people and some dogs, all out enjoying the warm sunshine. I took various landscape shots as we walked along.

As we were about to pass the car park by the cottages at Westhaven on our way to cross back over the railway line I stopped for a look along the beach. All the gardens and the small line of dunes looked green and healthy. I thought about how awful they had looked after the late Winter and Spring tides which flattened the grasses and threatened the gardens. The recovery is nothing short of amazing. Maeve agreed it would be a good idea to take a picture :-)
