Lettuce

I'd seen the price of lettuces rising in ty shops - £2.00 each. I find that I don't get round to using them up quickly enough and waste much of them.

We saw a pack of 10 mixed lettuce plants in the garden centre so we got a pack and The Man planted them in the greenhouse.

For weeks now, I have been able to pick just enough for each meal. I know seeds are even cheaper but this was such an easy option.
