Nice is nice 5

Last day here before we head home later tonight.

After checking out of the hotel (thankfully, they are looking after our cases till we get picked up later by the taxi), we headed out for a bit of shopping in Galleries Lafayette and lunch.

We are now chilling in the gardens by Square Massena, watching daily life, which has included loads of people sitting on benches, picnicing, listening to the birds as well as an outside dance class where more senior ladies and gentlemen were having a great time (see extra).

We are so very impressed with the way of life here, people seem happy and maybe it’s just the sunshine, and the ‘joie de vivre’.
