Big milestone

This won't be a big deal to many people but to me its absolutely fantastic.  Yes he's 3 and a half but he has never drunk out of a cup like this until the last week or so. Nursery are a great encouragement and sent me this photo of him today. He has been using a straw to drink but today he declined his straw and wanted to hug his cup. Our next big step will be to trying to toilet train through the summer. My opinion and the occupational therapists opinion is that he isn't ready , but I will give it a go as most of the children at nursery are out of nappies.  So we will spend 2 weeks in the house and not go anywhere through the summer. 

It felt great to be back at work today. The little wildlings had a fun day at nursery.  When I picked them up the jedi was in a pair of wellies. As he found the only puddle in the playground and practically went swimming in it. Twice. So his sneakers and clothes are in the wash . 

We are getting ready to go to the big wildlings school assembly.  It's the primary 7 leaving ceremony and the last one the head teacher will be hosting.  It's also a awards night. 

Blip may be a bit behind tonight.  But there's always early morning if I wake at the devils hour again like I did last night.
