Sea Crow
A rainy start with a cloudy finish today. Midday during peeks of sun we visited the river for awhile watching double-crested cormorants fly by. I was pleased to have this one land on a channel marker. Initially he was drying his wings but by the time I got near enough for a photo they were closed again • The highlight of the day? Cedar waxwings! We’ve been awaiting their arrival, and so pleased to welcome them back to the boat landing where they will raise their babies and gobble up red berries from trees planted along the boardwalk • Enjoy your evening!
