Another Hot One

I think we’re getting used to this heat! We ventured out for breakfast then enjoyed some sights along the river. Once home, plants got watered, then I grabbed my camera and sat in the shade. And waited • I was thrilled to find this female eastern tiger swallowtail flitting inside the Macfarlane lilac trees, despite the mostly spent blossoms • A severe thunderstorm watch is in place until 8pm tonight. We could surely use some rain. It currently feels like 108F, three degrees less than yesterday!! Looking forward to low 80’s tomorrow :)) • Peace & Love
