Winter Solstice

Another cloud inversion for the Winter Solstice.  There is a saying 'As the days grow longer, the wind get stronger'.  Let's hope that saying swings into action, tomorrow would be good!!   Today's daylight hours are 8 hours and 48 minutes.  The shortest day.

Today I strolled into town, I wanted to get some photos printed of a family reunion in 2015.  It has been lovely to look back on that happy occasion.  While I was waiting for the photos to get printed, I went to a local cafe for a cuppa and scone, and was very pleased to see Piano Lady and The Tuner at the same cafe.  Super to catch up with them both.

I need to bring in more firewood, and then settle in for the afternoon with a good book.  I seem to be saying that a lot lately!!!
