Nice cycle to Falkland and a 5* cheese scone at Pillars, shared with a few feathered friends including a chaffinch, blue tit, sparrow and female blackbird…all ID’d without having to use Merlin (the fabby bird Id app). The church next to the palace was open and we popped in and got a full guided tour incl amazing stained glass at the back. Apparently it’s days are numbered due to dwindling churchgoers and like many will prob be sold off to the highest bidder.
