Roses again

I do love my roses. They seem particularly good this year.

After a leisurely breakfast with our guests Mr C drove them to T’s sister. I walked down to the chiropodist to get my corn done. It was a year since the last time as there was a long waiting list. The young woman said how important it was to keep fit at 70+ and seemed to think 6 miles was a long walk. It certainly would be in this heat. Luckily it’s only a mile to the hospital/hub/medical centre/surgery.

It’s been a lovely day after yesterday’s rain. Everything looks very fresh.

I’m off to look at getting some train tickets then I’ll get back to my book. Bliss!
