Snapped on the way to work. I'd woken several times, including at 4am, when I stumbled to the bathroom, realised today was the Solstice, thought about doing something to celebrate, then stumbled back to bed.

I was tired when I got up a few hours later. I never really got back to sleep properly. Work was frustrating, too much to deal with, but I got a lift home. In the afternoon I'd had to close the blinds AND put the fan on in my office. The temperature was still 27 degrees, despite these measures.

And now I'm trying to organize a boat trip for next week. No one is answering the phone.
