In very different surroundings now

In inner city Bristol, a big contrast to rural Cornwall.  But the trees are just as wonderful.  I think this is a sweet chestnut, the flowers remind me of fireworks. 
Had a really good morning at Fareshare - the supplies of  fruit and vegetables seem to have been restored.  We had lots of nice fresh stuff to send out.  This tree is in a big social housing estate just by the warehouse. 
In the afternoon a much younger friend popped round to offer to help me restructure the edges of my allotment with some old roof tiles she has been given.  This will be great, I couldn’t tackle it by myself. She has just got 3 rescue hens, so I can help her out by going to feed them when she’s away.  And making sure they go to bed in their fox proof coop.
