The estate….

has put a new road in over the shoulder of the moor, so I went to explore this morning. It was hot and sunny and it was good to see the view from the road summit. The Wolf’s castle is clearly seen. Larks were singing all around. A roe buck bounded off and Heaths and other moorland species were in abundance!
