Riomaggiore

Today we took the boat that runs between the 5 villages along the coast to Portovenere (see extras) where we disembarked for a drink, a wander around and some lunch before catching a boat back, first to Riomaggiore (in the main blip) then to Manorola.

Because of the boat timetable, we only had an hour in each village and they were both very narrow and crowded so we decided to leave the final village until tomorrow and spend longer there as it seems to be the one with most to see.

The coastline and the view of the villages from the sea really are spectacular.

Another fabulous meal tonight involving gnocchi, prawns and a seafood sauce!
