Nature reclaiming the land

Went for a lovely walk on the old runway and common this morning.  It's such a lovely place to have nearby.  I particularly love this part of the old runway where the weeds and plants are reclaiming the land. 

I slightly overdid it on the walk and managed to walk nearly 9k but I felt good so just kept going. Came home and did a little work and then a short nap. Popped to the shop and then saw the girls walking home from school with the childminder so they came home early.  I have kept the same hours at the childminders while I am off work to a) keep the spaces and b) keep their routine the same. 

Had the hospital call and book my pre-op appointment for my surgery in August.  Made it seem real and a bit more scary.
