Sarcophagus

We went to a friend's 50th last night and had a late night but had to be up early as we had our friends dog today as they went to Twickenham for the rugby.  He is gorgeous but occasionally  snappy. He snapped at B a couple of times, no harm done but she doesn't learn and goes back to try and cuddle him again and again...  It doesn't help that he looks like a cuddly teddy bear I suppose.

We walked him to gymnastics and I walked him for an hour while the girls were in class and then we walked home again.

Back home had a little snooze on the sofa and then helped the girls with homework.  B had to make a piece or art in the style of Alma Thomas.  She decided to do a clay pot with a swirly Alma Thomasy mosaic design.  Ivy's turn next and with a little (lot of) help she made a clay sarcpohagus decorated in the remaining mosaic bits. Picture is her doing the lid.   Both are drying now.  I do like playing with clay!

John has been working but from home so at least we got to see him.  Bed time now!
