Tjibaou Cultural Centre, Noumea, New Caledonia

An early stroll to the city market, then off to the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, designed by Renzo Piano and inspired by Kanak architecture. My second extra is one of the “great houses” but there are 15 in total and the ideal photo perspective is from the lagoon at sunset. Plenty of better images online.

Corned Beef is made of corned beef cans (one marked radioactive) and has a motor and wheels. The artist is Michel Tuffery, a New Zealander.
