Seeing double

The garage door people arrived just after 9 a.m. to fix JJ’s overhead door, which hasn’t worked for several weeks.  They thought it was a service issue, but was the sensor that had failed.  Job done.

Unfortunately it also required a new pad in the hall and JJ managed to haul a sizeable chunk of paint off when he tried to remove the faulty one.  

I went to M&S to pick up a few items to take to our friends this afternoon where we’re having a barbecue.  It’s hot out there so I’ll be hoping to grab some shade.

I have been trying to photograph the hoverflies mating, but they do most of it bouncing around in the air, so difficult.  These two were probably tired and fortunately decided to rest on the leaf of a Verbena.
