Next Generation

JJ was on golf duty with older grandson, which left me free to wander.  It started out reasonably cool, but quickly became very humid and windy.  Not my favourite combination.

There were lots of Ringlets over the back, which is where I saw these two hanging around together, for want of a better description.  I also saw a single Marbled White, but couldn't catch it.

Any idea where the expression "brown as a berry" comes from?
Have you ever seen a brown berry?
