Friday Flutterby...

Set out with the intention of spotting White Letter Hairstreak butterflies this morning, and succeeded!!  Seeing others post on a local Facebook group alerted me to them being out and about in Leigh, so we took a drive to Old Leigh and had a wander by the station and found quite a few in a little track nearby so was lovely to see!

 We also had a little stroll through Old Leigh town by the water, and even at low tide it's a nice place to be although it was quite busy for a Friday - the issues on the local trainline to London today seems to have made people decide against going in to work or go shopping!
