A clematis in a clients garden today.
One of my wheelbarrows has a tire that keeps going flat. I was out getting some errands done this afternoon, plus another quote, and decided to drive by my old place. One of the neighbors from there often had lawn mowers and wheelbarrows and bicycles for sale. I bought another wheelbarrow from him a couple of years ago for $40 and I am still using it. He had another one there today, the same as the last one I bought from him, so I stopped and bought it. A friend of mine had to replace her lawnmower, but so far her handyman had not found any to suit her needs. I had told M to get her handyman to go see this guy on Clifford, but he never did. I asked him today if he had any self-propelled mowers, and he said he had one there for $65. I called M, told her about it, she called her handyman and he said she should get it. So she called me back and asked me to pick it up. Now she will be able to give the teenager that had been mowing her lawn his job back.
Off to the valley tomorrow, and I hope to have an early start. Lots of stops I want to make.
