Same ol', same ol' ................. On the plot for 6am gave all the fruit bushes, fruit trees, & rhubarb a good soaking. Tied in tomato plants, created some net protection for the brassicas being nibbled by the pesky birds, picked another 8 bags of salad leaves, plus 4 bags of perputual spinach for the Community fridge. Posted on Spotted Chudleigh so folks would kow it's there, shopped, down to CK. Walked Indie, by the time we arrived back it was rather warm. Coffee & Danish with Mum then we made stuffed peppers to cook later for Mum's tea. More stuffing than peppers. ARGH! Pruned the weeping willow that was desperately needing attention then up to Chudleigh, grabbed a bag of peppers from the Coop.
Pizza & horseracing from Ascot, lots of fancy frocks, hats, & top hats. 2 winners & a second for me ... 30pence up on the day :-))
Dropped Mum home, stuffed the fresh peppers then got them in the oven cooking before heading back to Chudleigh to make dinner.
