Solstice sunset

On a second day stopover at Allihies - at the end of the Beara Peninsular in Cork. This was a great recommendation from our niece. We started the day with a loop walk round the wild coast, up towards the hills to an old copper mine, down to the village and then back to the beach and our campsite.
After a swim in the sea We returned to the village on our bikes for an early evening beer. Lots of folk around enjoying the sun and the solstice.
Back to the campsite and a wander along the coast to watch the sun sink …
