1969 Sunday — Zoo Day

I’m “back-blipping” (today 6/24/2023)

This is a memory now that stirs in my mind every time San Diego Zoo is mentioned. I don’t remember any of the details, but I remember this photo moment with Barry & Jean (Baugh) just inside the zoo with a statue of the gorilla. My kids were so young. Mr. Fun was taking the photo.

Even though the San Diego Zoo is just shy of a two hour drive from our SoCal home, we have been there numerous times; however, this memory is solid and seems to surface first before all other zoo memories.
