All's well that ends well

A big thank you to all of you who stopped by with comments, stars, hearts on my balloon day. Believe me, it is very much appreciated.

This image is from early this morning, it was barely light and I thought we were in for a pounding. Luckily, it must have been heading the other way as the day turned out very nicely in the end.
Now that our "local" airline, Swoop, is being absorbed by it's parent, Westjet, there are no flights out of Abbotsford down to PV from October ownwards. That is unless another new start up, Flair, jumps into that market. I'm always very reticent about flights with start ups early in their lifespan, they can  totally screw one's holiday plans.
So a trek into Vancouver for flights from YVR it had to be for our December trip. One way on points, the other leg home with real money. Adding both together, I can't complain too much about the total .deal

Surprise, surprise, the Caps beat LAFC , in LA, after having their arses handed to them a month ago in a Cup competition.


Ah well...
