Connaught Water

Today we looked after Stella-Rose and sometime after breakfast we took her for a walk around Connaught Water, which to my horror, we haven't visited since February!
There was plenty to see waterfowl wise and Stella-Rose was very interested, even walking a third of the way round rather than staying in the buggy:  I've put a few more  shots in Extra Photos.  My main shot is of course a damselfly which was kind enough to pose for a long while.  Not so the dragonflies who delighted in darting around the water's edge not staying still enough for a single shot!
This afternoon S-R had a much needed nap but woke hot and fractious, so much so that she needed Calpol to cool her down.  That plus a longish session in the paddling pool soon had her back to her merry self
