Bracken

The hillsides around here are covered in large areas of this fern which can reach 2m tall. 
It reduces grazing areas for sheep and is difficult to control. The Scottish Goverment has banned the use of the only known chemical to deal with this plant so I suspect we’re going to be seeing a lot more bracken on local hillsides.
