Hot

It was very hot today.. perhaps 29C and humid with a hot wind.  The wind was so strong that the umbrella was going to blow over so we hardly sat outside either. The evening was blissfully cooler and we sat outside until I felt a little chilled... only in the uk!! 
We watched Elton at Glastonbury.. what a show he put on. It brought back happy memories of seeing him at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford years ago..great atmosphere!
And now to bed.. with the promise of a regular english summers day to come tomorrow.. I think I am looking forward to that with much to do before the decorator arrives mid week
