Rocket Man

So, that's  Glasto over for another year  - my 12th Festival since I started coming in 2005. It was actually quite chilly last night but the crowd at the Pyramid  Stage was massive (see extra photo). Elton John played a succession of hits - and he certainly has plenty of those - finishing with Rocket Man and accompanying sky rockets. I didn't get emotional - not even with Your Song which made a big impression on me when it was first released - but enjoyed and sung along to  the solid gold belters along with 100,000 others. It was nice to warm up by the fire at our camp site afterwards with a welcome cup of coffee. After a worrying start to the day - one daughter waking up with a very swollen lip necessitating our first ever visit to the Medical Centre - all ended well. Now all that remains is to pack up, head for the car and decide which way to drive home (via Stonehenge?).
