Norwest Arch

This is a classic sign of an approaching Norwwesterly wind in Canterbury, NZ - the NorWest Arch. It's stretching as far as I can see, from north to south, along the length of the western horizon. I think we're in for a good blow tonight! There's a severe weather warning out.
