New Leaves Unfurling.........
................on this Acer pseudoplatanus - ( I think!) - it is the only upright one I can find in my books that has new leaves of this lovely pale salmon colour. It is in my neighbours garden and if it is this variety, I think John may have a small problem as it is only about 8ft from their sitting room window and the book says it grows up to 20ft high! We shall see!
On arriving home after visiting Willow Cottage yesterday, my tiny garden looked very mundane! That is one of the problems of these visits! Consolation is that I know I would be totally unable to cope with 4 acres!
We are back to a cloudy morning once again but it does look as if the sun could break through eventually - temperature at 11.30 a.m. is around 14 deg. C.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
