Sleeping bee?

I'm afraid this little chap is not going to last long. He has a 'split' on his abdomen, it could be a cut I'm not sure. I spotted him 'sleeping' in this flower, all I had with me was some water, so I put a few of drops by him, his wings and legs moved a little, but it was obviously heavy going for him. I could do nothing more than leave him in peace.
