Sent packing....

A day of rain.
Much needed after weeks of near drought, but as usual, when the weather is good, our silage isn't far enough on to cut. Now it is ready, nearly too far on,the weather turns to Scottish summer mode, i.e. rain .
A day of Dad's Taxis again.
First job was to run Littlemiss into town for her orthodontist appointment. Then back out of town for my dentist appointment. I broke a crown off eating a Moffat Toffee last week. Turns out it's going to be a very expensive sweetie ! !
Back to the station to collect Littlemiss, back home, dropped her off, collected Junior, then off to the shops to buy him another pair of suit trousers for his Uni graduation,as thanks to all his gym work his old ones don't fit any more. Then had to run him into town to the gym. Back home in time for a wee drop of work, and took a load of dung to the midden down the road, then Mrs F dropped Littlemiss back to her pal's in town, as a group of them are off tomorrow inter railing round Europe for a month. All right for some !
The contractor in with his big trailers to empty the remains of the silage out the pit next door. The pit was built in the early 1990s, and I think this is only the 3rd time I've seen the back wall ! You can never have too much left over fodder ....
