Sunday morning rally.....

Another day of sunshine and showers. Definitely cooler though and a stiff breeze. Had to put a coat on when I went round all the cattle this morning.
Had forgotten that there was a motor rally going past today. Managed to get a few photos as they slowed ( not much) at the farm road end.
Spent a while finishing scraping out the silage pit. We will need to have a go at chopping soon as the weather picks up. However as the pit walls are made from railway sleepers,I have to hang plastic sheets along them to make them airtight. Only problem is it has to be on a calm day,so no chance today .
Headed off down the road to feed heifers. Noticed that next door neighbour was at their silage. Think it is second cut, and we haven't done first cut yet !
Nipped in to see my contractor in case I get round to needing silage bales wrapped this week as we are shearing again on Friday and the rest of the week looks complicated too.
