Fluffy clouds

Something of a desperation blip today. Roger and I both had appointments this morning, me at the dentist for my 6 monthly check- up and Roger back at the Eye institute. My appointment went well, teeth cleaned and polished, and a clean bill of health. Roger’s however wasn’t so positive. At last week’s appointment, the doctor who had done the procedure, whilst agreeing it would be a good idea to delay our trip, said it was currently borderline as regards flying, and seemed quite positive. Today, however, he was seeing his superior, who was less optimistic, so now we’re not sure if we’ll be able to go even then. He wants to see him first thing Monday morning, and if he’s not satisfied, it will mean having more invasive surgery later in the week! Needless to say this came as quite a blow, and the rest of the day we were both really depressed. I didn’t even make it out for a walk, but later in the afternoon the sun came out for a bit, so I took me tea outside, and did some Duolingo, while watching the birds. We haven’t seen much sun lately, so it was lovely to see the blue sky and fluffy white clouds
