Feeding on the weed

Apart from a short break for lunch (in which I finished the Guardian cryptic, used a five letter word from there to start the Wordle, and then used the same word for the Quordle) I was busy from the time I arrived until I left  9 hours later. A satisfying day.

Stopped off at Western Springs on the way home. A bit disappointed with many of today's photos being not quite right. My blip is of one of the four female Putangitangi (Paradise Shelduck) on the water in one of the bigger bays, near where at least 30 spoonbills were roosting for the night.
